We have a line of Mimaki UV LED Flatbed printers to our manufacturing hardware lineup.  These machines have complimented our engraving and milling process to take our Monitor Panel and Convenience Center lines to another level.  It’s given us the ability to print nearly any graphic design imagery onto our panels.  In our in-house graphic design engineers can recreate nearly any material or display possible.  Whether it’s a subtle fade, a complex gradient, a marble or graphite stone look, a rustic wood or sleek titanium.  We can meet your needs.

What is UV Printing?

UV printing is a form of digital printing that uses ultra-violet lights to dry or cure ink as it is printed. As the printer distributes ink on the surface of a material (called a “substrate”), specially designed UV lights follow close behind, curing – or drying – the ink instantly. Originally developed for quickly drying gel nail polishes during manicures, ultraviolet light applications quickly expanded into industrial and commercial markets. Because the UV lights cure any printed ink immediately, the dots of wet ink do not get a chance to spread out once printed, resulting in much finer detail. In addition, UV cured inks are weather-resistant and offer increased resistance to fading. This curing process is more environmentally friendly as it produces few VOC’s, odor, and heat. UV curing also allows the flatbed printer to be used with nontraditional materials like acrylic or aluminum. In fact, this UV flatbed printer is compatible with most substrates up to 2” thick!

Exceptional Quality

A UV-LED curing system controls lamp power and curing time for higher quality results. When using clear ink for a topcoat, the additional control delivers near-flawless glossy results by preventing dust adhesion and air bubble formation.


Three types of ink will be available from ‘hard’ inks that are chemical- and abrasion-resistant; to inks flexible enough for use in banner applications and vehicle wraps; to compliant yet stable inks for thermoforming applications. In addition to the standard CMYK color set, White and Clear inks, plus jettable Primer, will be available.
