TESTING METHODS

DESIGNED TO LAST

Our production process accommodates several different types of test methodology. Our circuit boards are delivered with an electrical test stamp of approval. We further test the product not only for its intended purpose of application, but for worst case scenarios. Each printed circuit board assembly is tested on an automated test fixture using pin probes, an array of test measurement tools, and Labview. Our testers have the capability to test and measure 260 points of interest.

For our cable assemblies, we create a tester interface for each assembly to connect directly to a Dynalab test unit. The Dynalab ensures point to point accuracy so there are no pinning errors. Automated labels are generated because of the test, so each tested harness is labeled. This is useful for quality inspections.

Replacing hand soldering, hand assembly, eliminating additional processes and waste, are ways we deliver to internal and external customers.  All products released are accompanied by extremely thorough assembly and test work instructions.

During the design process, our Design engineers and our Test engineers work together to identify test parameters. Identified on the schematic and the printed circuit board design as test points, the type of test, and the required measurement is documented. Our testing is not limited to probe measurements, we also do temperature, and many connector connections.
